Properly fitted orthotics will help you re-learn the unconscious movements that badly fitting footwear or joint damage has helped cause. They will help the learning of missing movement patterns by means of specifically incorporated stimulation points on thin arch supports. The stimulation points activate the selected muscles by stimulating the nerves in order to acquire previously unlearnt movement patterns to correct your gait.
Our orthotics are produced using a specially developed computerised production system designed by our own company. Michael Austin of Hunters Life Pharmacy is trained to use our specially developed foot scanner to produce a scan which will allow us to examine the feet, show us the pressure points and analyse the skin. Taken together all this information is used to produce a computer generated model from which your custom orthotics are produced.
